Complex software, delivered in weeks.

We are a small engineering team. We write the specification first, execute it with AI from end to end, and ship every day until the system is complete.

No three-month discovery phase. No management layers between you and the people writing the code.

Some projects can be finished in the time a large consultancy spends working out how many managers it needs.

Not a provocation. It is the difference between organising a project and doing it. We do it.

The timeline

From the first call to a delivery-and-payment cycle you decide when to stop.

Day 0 · 30 min

Discovery call

You describe the problem and we decide together whether it makes sense to continue.

Day 1

Proof of concept

Scope and price fixed. You pay for the proof of concept and the team starts.

Day 7 · One week

Working prototype

Something you can open and use. Real software, not a mockup.

Decision

Do we continue?

No

It ends here, and you keep the prototype you have already paid for.

Yes

The delivery contract is signed and the project enters the cycle.

03
Progress payment

The cycle repeats every week. You decide when to stop: the project ends when it serves you, not when a budget runs out.

07
days

A working prototype in your hands at the end of week one.

01
counterpart

One product owner assigned to your project, start to finish.

24h
cadence

Daily delivery while the project is open. Progress is watched, not reported.

engineers

The whole studio. There is no middle department to translate through.

01

How the timeline gets cut

Timelines do not shrink by working faster. They shrink by removing everything that does not produce software, and automating what does.

01

Spec Driven Design

The specification is the project. Before any code is written we agree, in writing, what the system does, what it does not do, and how we will know it is finished. Everything after that is measured against that document.

02

AI from end to end

We use it in the specification, the implementation, the tests and the review. Not as an occasional assistant, but as part of the cycle. It is why a team this size delivers like a large one.

03

A prototype in seven days

Week one ends with something you can open and use. Arguing about a real screen costs an afternoon; arguing about a document costs a quarter.

04

One product owner

One person from the studio answers for your project from start to finish. You talk to whoever decides, not to whoever takes notes to check later.

05

Daily delivery

Every day there is something new in an environment you can open. We deliver until it is complete, not until the budgeted hours run out.

06

An automated cycle

Integration, testing, deployment and quality control run on their own. The team spends its time on the problem, not on the ceremony around it.

02

Two products of our own

Built with the same method we apply to client projects. They are the proof, not the brochure.

Track The Bid

Accounting for options income

Your broker tracks cash; it has no idea what the strategy returned. Premium, buybacks, rolls, assignments and commissions reconciled into one ledger, week by week.

Y Se Marchó

The Spanish skipper syllabus, understood

The PER recreational skipper syllabus is memorised and forgotten on the way out of the exam. Here every concept comes with something you can handle.

Who we work well with

SMEs going digital

You know the step has to be taken and you need someone to sit down and decide which one it is, with technical judgement and without selling you a platform for life.

Startups with a product

You have traction and a list of things that never ship. We come in, deliver, and leave without handing you technical debt to deal with afterwards.

Studios and agencies

You need serious engineering behind your design, a single point of contact, and dates you can promise your client without crossing your fingers.

The studio

Studio 41 Software Design S.L.
Barcelona, Spain

We design systems and software. We work directly with business and technical teams: we understand the situation, make the risk visible, and define what the next step should actually be.

We also do the opposite. If an earlier digitalisation effort went wrong, we help you understand what is broken and what can still be saved. And if you have a proposal on the table, we challenge it with you and make visible what can go wrong before it becomes expensive.

Track The Bid and Y Se Marchó are what happens when we apply these principles to our own products.

Direct contact

Thirty minutes with an engineer.

Tell us about the project, the proposal you want challenged, or what went wrong. If we are not the right fit, we will say so on that same call.

Project 01 Own product Closed beta

Accounting for options income.

Your broker tracks cash. It has no idea what the strategy returned. Track The Bid closes that gap.

Premium collected, contracts bought back, rolled or assigned, and every commission paid, reconciled into a single ledger, week by week. A workspace for people who sell weekly options against shares they already own. It never connects to your broker and never places an order.

0–100

A scored verdict on every candidate, with the reasoning in view.

01

One ledger where premium, buybacks, rolls and commissions meet.

09

Tools in one workspace: screen, plan, log, read.

02

Factors to sign in: password, then an authenticator code.

The loop

Screen, size, then find out whether it worked

Screen

A number you can argue with

Every candidate gets a single 0–100 verdict and the reasoning behind it. Five rules can take a row to zero on their own — including earnings landing mid-contract — and the scanner names the one that did it. No black box.

Size

Settled before the open

The shortlist moves into the budget planner: lots, capital required, expected premium and remaining funds. Then you write the contracts at your broker — the one step that happens outside the workspace.

Account

Real numbers, not estimates

Import your broker's transaction export and the ledger, dashboard and per-ticker breakdown rebuild themselves from trades you have already made. Schwab exports today; more brokers in progress.

Isolated workspaces · Mandatory two-factor sign-in · Invitation only

Why it is here

The method, applied to ourselves.

Specification before code, a working prototype in week one, daily delivery and an automated development cycle. Track The Bid is a real accounting system built that way, by a small team.

See the method →

Track The Bid is software for tracking and planning your own trades. It is not investment advice, and it does not place orders for you. It is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any broker, including Charles Schwab & Co., Inc.

Understanding navigation before memorising it.

The syllabus for the PER, Spain's recreational skipper licence. Most of it is memorised and forgotten on the way out of the exam.

Here every concept comes with something you can handle: a sphere that turns, a chart you measure by pricking it, a compass rose where the three norths separate at once. You see how it works first; the definition arrives afterwards, and then it stays.

What you handle

Three instruments, not three chapters

01 · The sphere

A sphere that turns

Parallels, meridians and coordinates stop being a fixed drawing on a page. Turn the sphere and you see why latitude is measured where it is measured.

02 · The chart

A chart you measure by pricking it

Courses, distances and position are worked out on the chart, pricking the points, as in the exam and as on board. Not in the margin of a book.

03 · The three norths

A rose where they separate

True, magnetic and compass north pull apart at once on the same rose. Variation, deviation and total correction are seen before they are calculated.

Why it is here

Complex material, made interactive.

Turning an official syllabus into instruments you can handle is the same work as turning a business process into software: understand the domain, write the specification, build what can be used. Y Se Marchó is a Studio 41 product.
